We are proud to be an independent brand designed with love in Hawai‘i and made ethically in Bali. As an authentic swimwear label, we remain true to the design process to create thoughtful, original pieces of quality. When you purchase a THOSE SEEN DANCING® piece, you’re getting hundreds of hours of creation, experimentation, and collaboration with expert makers from Hawai‘i, Bali, and around the globe.

We provide, and only partner with organizations that provide, fair wages and healthy working conditions for all levels of staff. We stand for safe working environments for models, creators, and industry workers, and have a zero-tolerance policy for racism, discrimination and sexual harassment/abuse.

Sustainability

Sustainability has been rooted in our brand from inception, and we believe being environmentally and socially responsible should be a universal value across all brands, in all industries.

Fashion is one of our most personal forms of self-expression, yet the industry's impact on the Earth and her inhabitants contradicts our vision for a sustainable future. Using recycled & sustainable materials is a great start; however, we must consider not only what materials are used, but how our products are made, where the energy to make them comes from, who is making them and whether the organization they work for is local or foreign-owned. We take all of this into consideration when creating our designs, and only manufacture with reputable small, locally-owned factories.

We plant one tree for every item purchased. We use minimal, reusable packaging to reduce unnecessary waste, and are committed to eliminating single-use plastics from our supply chain.
